Operating Partner, Data Scientist

Ben Moghaddam has over 10 years of healthcare experience with a focus on systems and data management. Ben’s involvement has been from top to bottom across many functional areas including accounting and finance, revenue cycle management, operations, sales & marketing and IT. At National Spine and Pain Centers, Mr. Moghaddam served as Financial Database Administrator where he was instrumental in developing a robust data warehouse and many reports that provided efficiencies in operations, finance, RCM, and sales & marketing. After leaving National Spine and Pain Centers, Ben joined Family Care Partners as Senior Data and Financial Analysist. In this role, Ben developed Family Care Partners’ operational and financial database from ground zero. During his time there, Ben founded Nexus Data Connections. Nexus Data Connections supported several of VHP’s Fund II portfolio companies (Orthopedic Care Partners, Ideal Option and Angels of Care) in developing operational and financial databases and reporting from scratch. Mr. Moghaddam’s strengths are identifying deficiencies in processes and systems and then guiding teams to develop better and more efficient processes to resolve said deficiencies. Ben received a BS in Accounting and an MS in Accounting and Information Systems from University of Maryland.
