Ted Marks

Ted Marks is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in business process redesign, IT operations optimization, and cross-functional team leadership. As the Chief Information Officer at WellMed Medical Management from 2020 to October 2024, Mr. Marks directed a global team and oversaw the company’s software development, infrastructure, program management and AI initiatives.

Before his role at WellMed, Mr. Marks served as the Chief Technology Officer at OptumCare Delivery Solutions from 2017 to 2020, where he managed the company’s IT infrastructure and support services and was instrumental in building applications for tier 1 referrals, closing risk gaps, and providing condition-specific treatment at the point of care. His earlier roles include Vice President of Merger and Acquisition Integration at Optum Technology and various leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, Pepperweed Consulting LLP, Target Corp., St. Paul Companies/Travelers, and Allstate Insurance.

Mr. Marks’ educational background includes an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Finance from St. Cloud State University. He has also earned several certifications from MIT, Northwestern, AWS and Microsoft.

Mr. Marks currently resides in Minnesota with his wife and two children.
