Ned Carlson
CEO in ResidenceNed Carlson joined Varsity Healthcare Partners as a CEO in Residence in 2022. Prior to joining Varsity, Ned was the Chief Executive Officer of Trumpet Behavioral Health, a private equity-backed national provider of clinical services to individuals with autism. Previously, Mr. Carlson was an Operating Partner with Windrose Health Investors and the President of GlobalCare, a healthcare payer services provider that was sold to Zelis Healthcare. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director of Dawntreader Ventures, a technology and business services focused venture capital firm as well as a financial analyst at UBS Securities.
Mr. Carlson is a graduate of Harvard University. He lives in Denver with his wife and two daughters, where he spends his free time skiing whenever possible and watching lots of youth sports.
