JC Tibbitts

Mr. Tibbitts has more than 25 years of experience in the lower market and middle market as an operator and finance executive. In these roles, he has driven value creation through hands-on leadership in strategy, corporate finance, M&A, and business building — with particular depth in PE-sponsored platforms across the care continuum.

Before joining Varsity, Mr. Tibbitts served as CFO of SPS Health, a PE-sponsored long-term care pharmacy benefits and logistics platform; as CFO and Co-Founder of Together Women’s Health, a PE-sponsored women’s health roll-up; as CFO and Interim CEO of Custom Home Health & Hospice; and as Co-Founder, President, and CFO of Clementine, a national medical and commercial answering services platform.

Mr. Tibbitts earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Miami University and his MBA with concentrations in Accounting and Strategic Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. A Detroit native, he and his wife have two daughters. Outside of work, you’ll find him on the squash or paddle courts, following Detroit sports, catching live music, or spending time with his family on Lake Huron.
