Jenny Couch joins Varsity Healthcare Partners with years of healthcare strategy and operations experience. She has served in leadership positions in both healthcare and management consulting. Most recently, she served as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Cancer Treatment Centers of America, a leading destination oncology provider in the U.S. She advised the CEO and leadership team on all aspects of the business from day-to-day operations to the organization’s growth strategy. Prior to her departure, she led the integration management office associated with City of Hope’s acquisition of CTCA, and corresponding expansion into a national system.
Prior to her role at CTCA, Ms. Couch served as Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives at Steward Health Care Network (SHCN), a managed care and risk-bearing provider company with 1.3M covered lives and $3.2B in annual revenue. SHCN is widely recognized as a healthcare value innovator and one of the largest risk-bearing organizations in the United States. Earlier in her career, Ms. Couch was an Associate Partner at Providge Consulting, a boutique D.C.-based consulting firm where she led the expansion of the firm’s growth into the healthcare and government sectors. She started her career in policy development, serving in several roles at AARP’s headquarters where she assisted in policy development work, strategic planning and performance management.
Ms. Couch holds a BA in Economics and History from American University in Washington, D.C.
